Today was Academic Day at Purpose Driven Academy. Most of the parents of the  children don’t come to the school as often as parents do in America. The majority of the students walk themselves at school or live at school because their home is too far for them to walk everyday. So Academic Day is a day where parents can come and see how their kids are doing.
I got there and the kids were so excited. I brought them a little treat and then we headed into the room to talk with the teachers. Junior and Allan are in the same class, so i talked to their teacher first. Junior is number three out of forty students in his class and Allan is number fourteen. Allan dropped his position from the last term, but we talked and he said that he would try harder and be more careful when he takes exams next time. His teacher said that his mistakes were from going too quickly and not reading the directions well. Junior moved up one position from the last term and said he would continue working hard. Stella is in the fifth grade and is in  position fourteen out of her whole class of forty-two. They all said that they were going to try to move up one position when they take exams next time and they are all bright students so I know they will all do well.
