It’s been a week of ups and downs with Brian. Up until late last night he seemed like he was making a nice recovery. I went to check and see how things were going yesterday and he was smiling, happy and talking. Then this morning I got a call and went down to the house to see how he was doing. He did not look so good. He had a very high fever and was having seizures. His breathing was very raspy and he was taking really shallow breaths. He also refused to eat anything this morning. So I took him to the hospital this morning and they readmitted him. They gave him medicine for the seizures and put him on some fluids to get rehydrated. They are keeping him there for a few days for observation. They tested him for malaria because they thought that maybe he had gotten that on top of everything else, but the results came back negative. There is a possibility that he is not responding to the TB medicine so please continue to keep Brian in your prayers and pray for healing on his little body.
