Throughout my time here I have visited a slum called Bosnia a few times. Last week we decided to go and just spend some time walking around and visiting some of the people we had met on our other visits. Most of the kids in the area are infested with jiggers. These little kids have to walk on their heels because of how painful it is to walk.
We visited a tiny little school and went back to remove jiggers from the feet of some of the kids who go there.

Sammy, when you remove the jiggers, how do you keep them from reoccurring? Do the kids just need shoes? What is the best defense against them?
